Planning for 4th of July decorating

Forth of July is the best holiday.  The warmth of summer, parades of bicycles adorned in flags, ribbons & streamers, gathering with a bunch of other people on blankets at a park, fireworks, and decorating the house in red, white & blue.

Independence Day is just over a week away.  What decorations do you have planned, when will you put them up?  Do you plan to use what you have or do you want to add some new items into the mix?

Here are a few pictures of patriotic trim I've put up in the past -

I really love the simplicity yet substantialness of bunting, so I think I may keep it simple and go that route this year.

I'm inspired by many of the patriotic decorating ideas over at Savvy Southern Style, so head over that way and take a peak!
