Reclaimed Wood Easel Painted with Annie Sloan Old White Chalk Paint


A very good friend of mine was planning her wedding not too long ago, and knew that she wanted a wooden easel to display a picture of her and her fiancé at the reception.  Her inspiration was an easel she saw at a shop she loves called Southern Accent in Mt. Pleasant.  That particular easel wasn't for sale.

M asked me if I thought we could create a version of the easel.  "Absolutely!" was my response.  Just so happens, we'd just pulled down a gate from our fence and had several pieces of wood left.  Here a few pictures of the easel we created:
